POWERLIFTING FAQs

  • No. Prior experience can help with understanding your biomechanics and fundamentals of lifting but it is not required. I welcome all levels of powerlifters, especially novice lifters starting their journey in the sport.

    I will teach you all the foundational skills required in 12 weeks to understand the basic technique, safety and movements for powerlifting.

  • My programming is modified to facilitated your needs. I will incorporate your social life, work, studies and other factors into the prescription of your tailored program.

    In saying so, I do recommend a 4 day training split of “Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday” with 60 to 90 minutes sessions. This will vary depending on your situation.

  • Yes. I offer 24/7 support via our training app and other messaging platforms. There is unlimited reviews and feedback of your training videos and I will be there every step of the way to support your powerlifting journey.

  • First you will need to begin with finding a federation or league. Register for a competition in that federation or league that you like. Prepare and begin training for that competition.

    In saying so, getting a coach can solve all those problems from which federation to choose, programming, technique work, nutritional recommendation, competition preparation and much more, so you can focus on training.

  • A coach is more than just someone telling you what to do. We are here to support you, guide you, educate you and keep you accountable in your journey. We are constantly learning and have been through many loops and crossed many hurdles so you don’t have to. We are here to fast track your results, avoid mistake, build physical resilience and mental fortitude for performance and life.
