    We are equipped with the knowledge and skills to prescribe, deliver and evaluate comprehensive exercise interventions to enhance your overall health, wellness and performance.

    In a rehabilitation service, Exercise Physiologist prescribe tailored programs to restoring your function and strength, while reducing pain and discomfort in the affect area. Our goal is to get you back to where you were prior to the injury or better.

  • I operate in Brisbane Southside, in the Upper Mt Gravatt area and conduct my consultations out of Zero W Southside gym. There is secure parking on site and basic amenities at the facility.

  • A standard Exercise Physiology session lasts 30 minutes, but you can opt for a 60 minute consultation if preferred. Different fees apply for 30 and 60 minute session, so please specify your preference when scheduling your consultation.

  • The initial consultation will generally last between 45-60 minutes. I will assess your conditions/ injury(s) with a specific assessments and other movements where necessary, before providing a treatment strategy moving forwards. My goal is to identify what caused or is causing your injury, pain and discomfort. Then provide a solution to facilitate the problem. From there we will begin our journey to a better quality of life.

  • Depends on the individual circumstances of severity of injury, type of injury, injury history, recovery rate, etc.

    Acute (short term) injuries can be weeks.

    Chronic (long term) injuries can be months.

  • Yes. “Rest is Rust” take it with a grain of salt. It is better to move around than not do anything. Injuries are manageable and fixable with the appropriate exercises and movements prescribed by a Exercise Physiologist.

    We prescribe a performance based rehabilitation programs, so you can train other body parts as normal but taper back on the injured areas and focus on recovery under the watchful eye of an Exercise Physiologist.

    There is no requirements for you to see a GP for a referral letter, you are more than welcome to reach out to an Exercise Physiologist in private practice. This gives you more freedom and peace of mind.

  • In most cases Yes. Exercise Physiologist can aid in pre and post operation for joint, muscle, or soft tissue injuries.

    Pre operation exercise program is designed to strengthen the muscles around the affected area, maximizing your chances of a successful and faster recovery.

    Post operation exercise program is designed for rehabilitation rebuilding muscular strength, improving your range of motion and preparing your return to an active lifestyle.

  • In some cases, private health insurance will cover the Exercise Physiology consultations, but often it only covers a portion of the costs. The extent of coverage can vary significantly depending on your specific insurance provider and the details of your policy.
